Large oak Georgian writing slope box

Georgian writing box in exceptional condition.

Oak and brass. Circa 1810.

Inset brass corners, cartouche and side handles all firmly attached with the original screw fixings.

The original lock comes complete with a later working key.

The top opens to reveal the velvet panel to the lid interior.
