This is the ideal present that will be loved for ever. As you know over any long term period genuine antiques have always increased in value. For over a hundred years this one has been loved.

It has a working lock with a single key to keep safe the things you value.

Victorian dated from 1870. Veneered in highly figured mahogany with a rounded coromandel effect edge and a brass centre piece with matching key plate. French polished by myself ,by hand ,the old fashioned way. Lined with a designer patterned pale parchment paper which is perfect for the period.

A beautiful heirloom that will be a great gift. This is English History at its most affordable and collectable.

Measures: 12"x 9"x 5.5" ; 30 x 23 x 14cm.

Weighs: 2kg.

These little artworks had a privileged location on the best english homes during the XIX century, accompanied the nobles on their journeys and the senior offices in their campaigns. They were extremely useful and also a sign of distinction.

Take this opportunity. The current global economic situation has made this type of works have a bargain price when valuing the wood they are made of, their age and their perfect finish. But this situation will no longer last as probably soon  these works will reach again the prices they used to have.
